New wheels/tires installed by Discount Tire a few days after getting my '25 R1S. Since the Gear Shop did not have any available at the time I had Discount Tire install what they stock. It has been a month now and 3-400 miles and they are still not sync'ing up. At the 3rd trip back to Discount to verify they are working, and right frequency, they told me I would have to get Rivian branded sensors; there was no more they could do.
Gear Shop still does not have TPMS senders in stock. I thought the whole idea with TMPS is they are not proprietary...as long as you had the right frequency.
I have been through many wheel changes on many vehicles over the years and have never had them not work-generic or otherwise.
Anyone find after-market senders that work, or found a way to 'force' syncing? I have even done the wheel change option in 2025.06.30 but still get the 'service immediately' warning for the TPMS.
