OC Interior at Night?

I love the Ocean Coast interior option but am concerned that the interior surfaces will be too reflective at night from the glow of the two screens making it difficult to see outside the vehicle. I live in an area where wildlife are a real concern after dusk. Has anyone had an opportunity to drive a vehicle with the OC interior in the dark (I realize that this group maybe limited to ten people right now)? If so, I’d love to hear your impressions (and everyone else’s thoughts)! Thanks!

I've not been a fan of OC for that very reason. Nothing to do with the materials, or the look of it. It's only the light that those bright colors will reflect around the cabin during intense sunlight and from streetlights at night. You can turn the screens down so they aren't lighting up the interior, but I can't think of how to stop the light surfaces from reflecting off of the inside of the glass.

Some will say the Forest Edge isn't the best, but those earthy colors come nowhere close to the high level of albedo present in Ocean Coast. Polarized sunglasses will help some when looking through the windshield, but they won't squelch the bright light of the interior and certainly won't be of help at night.

I know I sound grumpy saying all of this, but it drives me nuts to have a black interior on one of my cars with shiny polished metal bits on the dashboard to serve as mirrors for sunlight. I've had to resort to putting 95% tinted vinyl on those bright surfaces to minimize the glare. It sounds OCD, but it works.

My biggest concern about the interior is the reflection onto the windshield from the top dash pad. Vehicles I've owned that had lighter colors tended to reflect a lot more than darker colors. From the pictures in the configurator it looks like FG has a brown top pad, but OC and BM look like they are black.

Duck - can you recall what they were when you were in the trucks?

I’ve had a light interior before as well and loved it… until it got colored with time. But it also had a very small screen so it wouldn’t illuminate the cabin much.

I recall a conversation about the interiors within the configurator being photoshopped and the dashboard is the same in all three pics. I've also looked for photos from the visit to see if I captured all three of the dashboards but, unfortunately, I didn't.
