Pre-ordered in Dec 2021. Confirmed and completed 8 steps today, VIN assigned today (11542). Awaiting contact from guide to schedule delivery. Any ideas how long it takes from VIN assignment to delivery?

R1T, LS+OC, 20” dark, spare, crossbars, etc.

Congrats. Maybe I should move my delivery address to Cedar Point. Get to ride some roller coasters and then launch my truck back home.

Dallas Launch Edition order here and just got my 8 steps. Hopefully any day. Now I've got to decide what to do with my Lightning! Hopefully it means DFW about to start picking up pace of deliveries.

Aside from OC, other good ways to delay your order involve 20" ATs, especially if you add a spare, and the reinforced underbody. If I get mine in October it'll still be early.

My guess is that they get the builds to a region and for some reason someone backs out so they look for someone else in that region with that configuration.

If it is already at an SC they do not want to ship it somewhere else if they can get it to someone in that area.

From my own experience, once that changes to "SELECTED_FOR_FULFILLMEMT" you had better be ready to accept delivery. It was a matter of days - not weeks.

i secured a shop configuration on 8/23 with Vin assignment immediately (10,1xx) 8 steps done except final payment. I’m 158 miles from the Normal service center. Update from my guide on 8/31 was to anticipate contact for delivery scheduling in 2-3 weeks. I was definitely expecting a shorter timeframe for a shop configuration that didn’t need to travel by rail across country and seemingly was part of the existing inventory. Just wondering what’s happening over those 3 weeks. Is it still actually under production? Or sitting at the service center awaiting PDI. Not sure if my timeline has any bearing on yours, but may be helpful.

It's most likely still at the factory fresh off the line. Someone bailed on their config confirmation. Hopefully it'll be at your service center and through PDI earlier than three weeks as they've been sand bagging to avoid disappointing folks as they've been known to do.

I have 20's, underbody and a spare in my config and got VIN 2 weeks ago and truck is on a train headed west right now. I know this may have been the case a few months ago but I don't think it is any longer at all. We're seeing lots of trucks with 20's and underbody being delivered right now.

Not many with OC, for some reason. But that steady progress with adventure upgrades is still promising.

Not many, no, but it does looks like now that the new OC is out they are pushing some of them out. Time will tell but I bet we see a lot of them over the coming months.

So is anyone here in the DFW area expecting to pickup their truck soon? Just drove by the new SC in Dallas and there are 20+ R1Ts and at least one R1S in the lot. They still don’t have a CO according to the Dallas City Hall site, and Hawes Ave is still tore up in front of it so I’m guessing that would be the only thing holding them up right now.
