OnePlus phone PAAK problems

The OnePlus issue is definitely a running in the background issue. As soon as I wake up the phone to the unlock screen the truck opens.

Try an experiment. Put your phone in your pocket with the screen facing outward instead of inward towards your body and post up if it works better. I know it sounds crazy but I need some other Samsung users to verify my findings.

Tried it. Makes no difference.
My situation is unique I think, in that it literally works flawlessly for a week, maybe 10 days, and then just stops working altogether. Incidentally it'll stop working for about the same amount of time that it previously worked (7-10 days). So if I don't have my key card, I'm completely screwed. Can't start the truck. So I always carry the keycard because I never know.
Rivian tech came out and checked it out. Said everything looked great and was working great.

Yes this is a year old, but seems even worse lately. Sometimes phone tap with app open won't even open the door l. Eventually opening the door with the app works.
Also the PAAK to start hardly ever works. Does opening the door and starting the truck use different sensors and/or systems?
I've tried removing the phone, resetting the key, rebooting both the phone and the truck with no improvement.

It's likely a power saving issue where the app is put to sleep. My wife has a OnePlus Open and it seems to work without issue. I assume you are allowing notifications and full run in background permissions?

Yep have done the deepest dive possible with AI help to find all the possible settings. What I don't understand is how I can unlock but not have a key that the truck recognizes. I have to carry a card with me.
