Haven't had a chance yet to watch, but should cover the new edition, it's accessories and the new Tonneau!!!
Edit*
- Color has more of a cream or latte tone to it, seemingly with no metal flake
- New tonneau is nearly silent, smaller slats but still no word (in the video) as to how they achieved the new tonneau functionality from a packaging standpoint. @Riviot has confirmation on his end that it's not back compatible with previous models, however communication from other outlets suggest it's coming to the gear shop as a post delivery install. So who knows.
- Pricepoint, as we know, is a fantastic deal for anyone considering taking the plunge on a Tri-motor
- Some of the stiching etc which is part of the Ascent trim is missing from the interior of the Dune Edition, as well the headliner feels different as opposed to the micro suede in the Ascent.
- Interior feels a bit more rugged and focused on durability of materials while still maintaining the Rivian feel.
- Tonneau again just feels fully sorted, and not as restrictive as the original version(s) and prone to failure.
- The cabin floor below the mats feels like an "all weather" textured or woven plastic of sorts that seems very durable. If some of you remember the original prototypes doing the rounds at the LA Autoshow and throughout 2019 in various preorder holder event venues, the original intent was for a rubberized floor of sorts to eliminate the worry of things like dirt or pine needles embedding themselves in the carpet for more of a balance between interior feel, but also Adventure First surfaces.
