I also have the driver gangster lean! Just got to my service appointment for my 1 inch difference. The technician asked if I use kneel, which I do, then proceeded with some unbelievable explanation.

"Kneel is for the driver so every time you park, that side will be lower than the rest"

So I left with every profile "kneel off" and an hour later im in the same situation.

It's unfortunate that a tech would make such an ignorant statement. It sounds like rather than entertain the idea that something is wrong with the vehicle, the folks at Rivian are trying to come up with any explanation they can.

So I sent an email explaining my experience to my guide. They turned it around so I need to give other staff credit. A supervisor called me, apologized and they even came to my house to pick up the truck.

They replaced a suspension damper on the lower side and inspected the rest of the vehicle. They found some faulty door drain plugs. Also replaced a loose gear tunnel panel.

I have had 2 visits to the SC and was told that everything is within spec. In my case the truck will be about 1 inch lower on the driver side (both front and back) and will stay that way. I can get it to level itself if I put the truck in camp mode. It stays leveled (no driver side lean) even after I drive off and it usually stays leveled for a day or two. I had mobile service come out the other day. They had a senior engineer (deep dive they called it) at Rivian look at all the logs and didn't see anything wrong. The technician told me that the most likely reason for the lean in road crown. The truck will adjust to the crowned roads (for water draining) and will stay leaning until it detects a 30 mm lean in the road on the other side. That was the explanation.. I don't buy it. Why is the truck alway leaning to the driver side.
Did anything else every come of this for you? Was this the final answer from the "deep dive"?

Here’s my solution. I cut out the necked down portion of the sensor arm on one side, drilled and tapped both ends with a 4-40 tap, cut the head of a 1" long 4-40 screw and... as you see.

My problem is as per this thread title - passenger side too low. I can screw the arm inward more by 5.2 mm. Hopefully that's enough. Will see and report.

There are variations to this too. If one does the same thing on the other side and taps it with a left hand thread for a left hand screw you get a turnbuckle. A bit of locktite will keep the turnbuckle from turning by itself and that design gives easy, on-the-fly changes in arm length.

I have the same issue in mine, but with Defender tires it rubs. Service appointment in a month.

It’s probably an air leak. The service center found several leaks in mine. Several bad o-rings, and a leak in the air bag.
