Phantom Chiming After Update 2026.24.40

I've noticed this ever since I updated last week, but I've started hearing little half-chime sounds at random times while driving. Kind of like the R2 wants to sound a proximity alert but then decides not to as soon as it starts. It's hard to capture since I'm driving and can't easily record interior noise.
Anyone else experiencing this? I'm assuming it's a bug introduced by the update and can just report it and wait till the next update for a fix but I was hoping for corroborating evidence.

I just picked up my R2 on Monday so I can't speak to before/after the update, but I do think I have heard a short chime once or twice without a clear explanation. One time may have been when the car in the adjacent lane briefly got a little close to me, but I'm not sure.

Do you have Road Cam enabled? It will chime when recording a clip by default.

Interesting! I don't actually have Road Cam enabled yet (SDD comes on Monday) but I wonder if it has to do with that feature. I'll have to keep an ear out once I've enabled it to see if that's what I'm hearing. Maybe it's recording things that could be incidents (but then aren't so it deletes them?)?
