I think you found the most expensive MagSafe phone charger mount ?
It's true! It wasn't cheap, but the off roam does seem to be of higher quality than many of the others I have tried in the past with weak magnets, etc. I also liked that I can use my own cable to provide power to it. I've only been using it for less than 2 months so I can't speak to it's longevity yet but so far it's been great.

Many prefer to go without an arm but I like the phone to be slightly higher even though I don't typically use it while driving. That is probably the most overpriced part of the entire set up!

I've got one of these:

Rivian R1T R1S Phone mount 1691775817220

The little spring-loaded doohickey with the ball & push clip that goes behind the screen to hold it in place. Was one of my first purchases but tbh don't use it as often as I thought I would. It puts the phone too far away on the right, and if I try it on the left everything gets blocked (my phone is kind of big - Pixel 3 XL with case).

One of these days I need to figure out a better solution but don't really want it on the windshield, either. This entire setup is a 'fail' for Rivian, in my book. They should know everyone by now has a cell phone, and most folks want it mounted somewhere convenient. ?
