Power Tonneau Cover Replacement Scheduled

I took delivery of my R1T at the end of March which was a demo unit (VIN 11XXX) and the cover was disabled. Put in a ticket to be fixed before leaving, my ticket disappeared off of the app first week of April so I put in a second ticket. Received a call that the first ticket was still in the system but wasn't showing in the app for some reason. Week later I got a call to schedule a replacement, currently set for June 3rd at the MN service center.

How's the replacement working?
My tonneau has now failed - almost made it 2 years...

My cover (VIN 50XX) had worked perfectly for nearly two years now and I’ve never had a ticket open for it. They called to schedule replacement in early February and replacement was completed in late March. So they are retrofitting, at the very least some, working covers proactively.

Edit to add: Seattle area. I didn’t ask about the details of the change. Sounds more or less identical to the old one for me. Also, I never did any maintenance at all on the old one so I’m not sure why the tonneau gods smiled on me and kept it working for so long.

Did you ask about pushing it out until it did fail?
Mine also still works and I got a call out of the blue to schedule a fix which I'd rather not do until I have another reason to go to service.
Sounds like most are happy with the redesign so far though.
