We picked up our 2nd R1T in early June, a 2023 PDM Max Pack..1st schedule PTC install was scheduled for I think September? Then we got a call they were on backorder. Rescheduled to late November on a Saturday (installed same day in Atlanta SC). This revision of the PTC seems better than the original, fingers crossed no issues and looks great.

Awaiting R1T
After I ordered my 2023 Quad R1T they pulled them off the market and my Powered Tonneau Cover off my order while I was waiting for delivery.

Been watching the PTC drama from the sidelines. Has Rivian installed any PTC post-delivery that weren’t purchased at the time of the original truck purchase?

Drove a Cybertruck for work recently and had PTC envy.

Mine just got installed at the Costa Mesa CA service center last week. I took delivery of the vehicle in May... so about 6 months. At month 4 I had an appointment to get it done and was informed 2 days before that they couldn't do it, so I rescheduled.

Somewhat related, the rep said "congratulations, we put in your powered tonneau cover! Now, you CAN stop the opening or closing of the cover midway through its cycle, but I strongly recommend you DON'T do that. Let it open/close all the way."

:) Doesn't sound like a robust piece of equipment. But, I appreciated the advice.
I had my Power cover installed at the beginning of Jan. It looks great. I have to admit that using the mechanism gives me angst every time I use it. It's a noisy clunky beast.
