Premium audio option worth it?

Not true about the aftermarket sub, uso….there was a very nice thread about a self-powered 10” drop-in sub box from JL….passenger side, under back seat. Great reviews on results.
Was it added to a standard audio? Or was it upgraded from the premium? I know they've been successful with upgrading a premium sub-woofer. But, I hadn't seen anyone successful with the standard audio adding a subwoofer.

Good question..not sure. I believe signal wire simply removed and roused to build-in amp. Power lead directly to 12v terminal in the nose. Not sure what diff it would make which system was the starting point. Ill see if I can find a link to that thread.

That thread started before Standard Audio existed.

I saw another thread where people were trying, and they found the subwoofer signal wires, but they weren't activated, which is what I would expect. In the SW, they'd decide where to send the audio signals.
