Pulled the trigger on a Gen2 R1T

After never finding a tri R1t in color (Rivian Blue)or specs I wanted in shop. I found in the shop a R1t large with almost all specs except dark package and 22” darks. Ordered, figured I’d buy extra winter wheels, confirmed delivery and found a better max pack with every spec I wanted including Rivian Blue. So I quickly put another deposit on second r1t while I frantically went online 7 days before 1st one was to be delivered to cancel 1st as I now had 2 coming. I was able to get cancelled and got refunded.
1 day after original truck delivery date I picked up the second more preferred max. At delivery my 1st order was in the lot. So glad I held out for the specs I wanted. Could see side by side the two.
Gave up hope finding a tri , so I guess next time.

Congratulations! That's a really great spec!!! I love the Rivian Blue...and the darkout package with 22 darks really adds to the appeal.

I took delivery of a R1T Dual Max Performance this week. I think you may grow to appreciate the around 50 miles of additional range. That was my rationale for not buying a Tri or Quad motor. On the other hand, I would have preferred the nicer Ascend package. I’m extremely pleased with my new truck. BTW, you made a great color choice.
