R1S alignment - how much did Rivian charge for this?

I got new tires so thought it best to get alignment done. Rivian is quoting $350 which I think is high. What have others been paying for this ?

I just had my tires rotated after a service call, they charged $135.00. Shelton Connecticut service center

I am thinking twice about getting the alignment done. I don't have a problem right now, car does not drift, steering straight etc. I have just followed the rule that new tires should go with an alignment check to maximize the tire life. But at $350 for this service, the ROI is negative when the tires themselves cost 1400 (Michelin).

No need to do alignment after tire change unless you notice some issue.

I have just followed the rule that new tires should go with an alignment check to maximize the tire life.

My entire life I have never heard or read of such rule. Have witnessed such lie being told by tire shop counter dweeb trying to upsell customers who don’t know any better. Properly mounted, tires do not alter alignment of wheels they are mounted to. Align/geometry of wheels and suspension—relative to vehicle chassis—is the same, because suspension geometry adjustments are not touched in any part of the tire swap process.

Labor rates do vary because average cost of living and business overhead vary by state/city.
