Just picked up my R1S on Tuesday from Brooklyn SC, they spent over 90 minutes explaining the car to me as well as my 10 year old son who clearly understood more then I did. Took me 30 minutes to adjust to the regenerative braking. It drives really well, just like it was described here, a little clunky on bumpy roads but smooth on well paved roads. Acceleration is amazing! Just dropped it at AutoSpa in Southport Connecticut to get PPF, window tint and ceramic coating! Clearly not cheap but well worth it as drivers in Westport Connecticut love to open doors into other people’s cars!
Original order date 10/2020, 1st delivery window was August/September 2023. Well worth the wait. Figured out how to stream music and news from my iPhone so I can listen to Bloomberg in the morning!
This joins my wife’s merc e400 convertible and my 2013 Cayenne Diesel.

Congrats! Looks amazing, but I’m partial to limestone. Hope it brings many smiles.

Just ordered the yellow covers for the tow hooks! That should add a nice pop! I was conflicted about going clear or matte PPF on the limestone, and decided on clear as it allows the car to change color in different light! I know what I spent on everything, can’t imagine what it costs to add chrome out etc! What are you driving!
