R1S at Ryan campsite in Joshua Tree

This is my 2023 R1S at one of the Ryan campsites in Joshua Tree. Ryan has no running water so it attracts few and is a peaceful place. I decided to spend the night in my SUV, and as it turned out, I woke up to a blanket of snow. A beautiful and mystical sight that I had never seen. Sleeping solo in the car was great. I kept the heat at 60 and went through about 20 miles of range. It was 32 outside when I woke up. Since it was too wet and cold to hike another day, I left the park and went to the Rivian recharging center just outside the park for a free charge. I took this picture on the eve of the storm. and everyone tells me it looks like an ad. Does anyone know how to have Rivian take a look at the picture and see if they're interested?

It's a very cool picture, but not something a marketing dept is likely to want to buy the rights to (pm me and I'll give more feedback if you're interested; I've sold my photos in the past, but it's a lot harder than it seems on first blush).

Send it to Rivian's Insta page and enjoy your cool pic and awesome memories. I have a R1T that I love, but your R1S is enviably cool as well.

thanks. yes, it wasn't intended as a marketing picture but the feedback I got from non-professionals was so good that I thought it was worth showing to the company. I took a few shots because I realized it looked kind of cool. People immediately say, "it looks like an ad". But again, that's feedback from non professionals. I think the setting and light are unique and the shoot was not staged in any way. If I had intended to make it a marketing shot, it would probably look different. But the memories were indeed great. It's a big plus to not have to keep an ICE engine running to stay warm. And to have a level car. If you're alone, this is the way to camp. Joshua Tree does a nice job of creating remote camp sites around cool rock formations. And on the way out, you get a free charge from Rivian.
