R1S Compact Spare Range Decrease?

Just bought a used R1S launch edition and noticed that it came with the compact spare in the back. Took it out to make room for a stroller and was going to put it back in but wondering if anyone knows if it affects range at all? Assuming not since the car weighs a ton already but if it does might just keep it out (kind of defeats the purpose but we also have roadside assistance).

I can’t imagine leaving it out would make any difference. Mine did not come with one, I think I got it installed about year after I picked it up and did not notice any change in efficiency. It only weighs 58 pounds, that is .83% of the vehicle weight.

Agreed. I doubt it will have any noticeable affect on range other than potentially allowing you to get to your destination should you get a flat.
