Same here, ordered summer of 2020 with original delivery of July-Sept 2022. Pretty bummed. Not going to cancel as others have said, no reason to, but geez.

There is no way this happens Jan 1st 2023, you basically should county on this day next year (which would be the last day of the first half of the year) at the earliest. :(
Ordered an R1T in April 2019.

Ordered a Max Pack with Ocean Coast interior.

I am not sure what to do now. If I am pushed out to Summer of 2023, not sure I have any patience left in me.

This is a huge bummer, I feel for everyone who got this window. I was one of the lucky(?) few who got my update earlier this month for an Aug - Sept 2022 delivery, but looking at some of your preorder dates there isn't much at all separating me from the rest of you - in fact many of you have earlier preorder dates. Doesn't make sense, which is unfortunately becoming par for the course for all things Rivian.

Was there even an Oct - Dec 2022 window? Is it just Aug - Sept for R1Ss this year?

Just rec'd a email that my R1S delivery window moved from Oct-Dec 2022 to "first half" of 2023. That will make my March 2019 non-Launch Edition preorder a 4+ year wait. Hope my heep can continue to run until then.
4 years!$&! But..at least you got an email. Now I’m wondering if I’m actually even on their radar?! I sent my deposit last
Feb (2022) and was told 4/23 delivery.
Did most of you receive emails?

Did you order 2/22 and received notification that delivery was 4/23? That is fast!

Am I the only one whose guide doesn’t reply to emails? I’ve had a guide for ~3 months now. In that 3 months I’ve emailed 3 times. Only the first email at the very beginning ever received a reply. My guide appears not to be interested in responding to questions.

My latest (3rd) email was to ask if a change from Ocean Coast to Black Mountain would have any impact on delivery as was originally announced. It’s been 6 days… no response.

I’m at the point where I would consider Black Mountain if it meant a 2022 delivery vs 2023.
@SoCalTravels I actually text mine a few times a week and she’s always responsive within an hour roughly, if not sooner. I’ve emailed her some things as well and don’t get a response, but I only do that if I need it further documented.

No email for me.
LE BM I’m So Cal. 8/20 pre-order.

my guide said letters will be coming out all Summer.

I am worried I got lost in the mix because I switched from R1T to the R1S.

I'm not sure why people who got updates on 6/11 are confused why they didn't get another update on 6/30. You should be glad you didn't get another email, because the 6/30 batch was only to bump people with previous 2022 windows back to 2023. I wouldn't expect another update unless September rolls around and there's still no sign of non-employee R1S deliveries.

Concur. Also for people with recent preorders- you're likely waiting a long time for delivery. So long RIVN isn't bothering to give you an estimate at the moment...

I switched from S to T and back to S (about a month ago) and got all the emails. Got bumped from July September 22 to first half of 2023. It sucks but it’s okay they’ll work some of the kinks out by then. Only thing is that it’s a pretty vague range.

My previous delivery window of 1st half 2023 (was this when I ordered SEP2021) disappeared from the order landing page several months ago but I somehow still held this to be my window.

When I reached out to Rivian via chat today to ask about this and when I should expect an update, he said that he saw the previous estimate of 1H2023 but that that timeline is no longer associated with my order and that I should expect to hear about an updated delivery window by the end of the summer s-0---0-n.

Not surprising but definitely helped disabuse me of any thoughts that my delivery window was still 1H2023 when everyone else's earlier windows were being pushed back.

After I got my delayed email, I reached out to Rivian support and when I expressed my frustration and possibly go with a different options, they jumped on the "We will be glad to cancel your pre-order for you".
This is what I suspect. They are either breaking even or losing money on the R1S pre-order so they are pushing to all the pre-order out so they can get back on track with their profitability. I won't be surprised if they are trained to cancel the pre-order when they get the chance. I wonder if we are going to see people that ordered it with the new price getting it before the pre-order.
Just to despise them, I am keeping my order even if I decide to get another vehicle.

To add to. above, the whole OC interior thing is probably used to make up some lost revenue by charging $2k for FG interior - which was always paid option prior to March.

Rivian has to figure out how to make up lost revenue some how while the costs have gone up.

My guide too just replied to me with the same that my file says “no updated window” and that by end of summer they should have next round of updates. My worry is that if they are giving 1st half 2023 updates out in the first round, does that mean 2nd half 2023 or later in the second round? I’m a 2018 preorder in an established service center area so I’m assuming it’s all about my OC interior choice.
