Shoot me a message when yours arrives - if you don't mind. There's still a chance mine was/is on the same train, so I'll swing by the service center just to see.Don’t scare me… I’m in SLC too and my truck is on a train…

Guide got back to me again yesterday - he said he honestly has not been able to figure out why I was unmatched, but he would keep trying to follow up. The only thing he could confirm is that my VIN wasn't reassigned to anyone else...which negates my original theory, though I'm still trying to figure out what happened.
I stand by my comment. Dirty Mike and the boys found it unlocked in the train yard. They lost it.
Honestly, I think same as it happened to me, which is quality issues and they had to take it back but were not able to find you a replacement further down the production line immediately. Mine was in the 11xx and got replaced with 13xxShoot me a message when yours arrives - if you don't mind. Holy cow! Never thought I'd actually see that reassigned. Where are you located? I ended up driving to Denver to pick up a Limestone one last month (if you wanna trade ha).@tjaco007 I was just assigned that VIN!!!
it is your specs and it is in SLC. If I want it, I have to travel to get it.
Well I certainly hope mine was not on that train :0/ I too am waiting for an SLC delivery!Long story short, I had a VIN assigned with 8 steps completed and vehicle in-transit for the last 10 days. As I was pulling into the service center to see if it had arrived, my guide texted me that my VIN had been unassigned, though couldn't tell me why. The service center said they haven't received any Rivians recently because transit mode had shifted from truck to rail. I was told I'll have to start over and wait for a new VIN to be assigned.
I could get super frustrated about the process, but at the end of the day there's nothing I can do about it. So I might as well have fun and try to figure out who got my R1S!
Based on all the evidence, I'm fairly confident they must have put my R1S on the wrong train, and after realizing it wasn't headed to Salt Lake City, decided to assign it to someone in California (or wherever that train ended up going). So with that said, has anyone recently been assigned VIN 1187? El Cap, BM interior, 20" AT with no underbody.
As a small consolation prize would love to at least solve the mystery. Also open to other theories on where it went.
This one is regular 20’sR1S El Cap Black Mtn—are your 20” black or standard? I saw one fitting this description at the SLC service center on Sunday, though the tires were 20” dark….
I am in Southern California. Funny thing is that my wife originally had limestone selected, then my guide said this was available
So both of you have a reservation for the same vehicle configuration, one of you is in Utah with a 2019 reservation, the other is in LA with a 2021 reservation.R1S El Cap Black Mtn—are your 20” black or standard?
