R1T Gen 2 ordered July 23rd

UPDATE: We had ordered our R1T-Large on September 28 with the "estimated delivery time frame" of September or October 2024. Well tomorrow is the last day of October. I gave a call to the Rivian sales office to find out an update; they apologized for the lack of status update, but did say it's usually about 4 months to delivery, bringing us to January 2025. However, the CSR said that they usually will make a manufacturing push for the end of year to get the sales recorded for the calendar year so mid December could be possible, and our "configuration is relatively standard, so stay tuned..."

My husband and I both figured that would be about accurate for manufacturing and delivery. It all works for us.

We got a call shortly after I called for a status on our order that our R1T had entered production and we can schedule the delivery. It will be 9 weeks from date of reservation to date of delivery.

I placed my Gen2 R1T order on June 6th, and it had the estimated delivery as September - October.
Just picked it up on Saturday 11/23

I think you may be right about that. Certainly the Q3 delivery rush apparently put custom builds on the back burner. I ordered on August 30th, purchase process started on October 22nd and took delivery November 19th. The transit to Florida alone took most of November.

Ours was eight weeks from reservation to delivery. A couple weeks ago, they said that the truck would be in New England (Boston service center) for today (11/25) and we planned to pick it up on the 30th. They called us last Thursday and said "Hey! Your R1T has been delivered!", so we got to pick it up Saturday.

I'm not complaining!

We went bumper-to-bumper inside and out and found nothing amiss. Watched enough nightmare-inducing YouTube videos to make a checklist of delivery issues to look for. The truck was solid; great, LONG drive home from the service center in absolute peace.

That said, a couple were also taking delivery of an R1S that came from the plant with with some technical problems. They did NOT look happy as they had to schedule a drop-off for repair on a vehicle that less than 10 miles on it.
