I got an email saying that mine was pushed back from June/July to August/September even though I have an ID assigned.

I'm of the though that if I don't get it in a reasonable window with the macro environment, I may just decide to move on from Rivian altogether.

Don't need to decide now. But was rather hoping to get out of my tesla this fall. But not sure I want to stomach buying an 80k vehicle paying 5+% APR and holding a depreciating car I don't love.

I've got 3 SCs that I coudl easily fly to and pick a vehicle up from on a moment's notice. 1 is a 90 min drive. The other 2 are 45? min flights. But as others have posted, the timing is all out of whack for people who are delayed by live 10 mins away from one...

Now for the dilemma, have a 2018 ram 1500 that is currently worth more then what I owe and I have a KIA EV6 Gt-line AWD coming next week that I was able to get at MSRP. So not sure if I should still get the EV6 and trade that in or cancel and wait for the R1T

I really don't think these windows have any bearing on you if you already have a delivery in progress or even a guide assigned. That takes precedence.

Now for the dilemma, have a 2018 ram 1500 that is currently worth more then what I owe and I have a KIA EV6 Gt-line AWD coming next week that I was able to get at MSRP. So not sure if I should still get the EV^ and trade that in or cancel and wait for the R1T

Not sure. I got allocation of my M3 LR in March of this year. So decided to take it. 1st EV. Its been a mixed bag for me. Decided to accept delivery because felt the depreciation would be less on it than my old BMW. But having driven the tesla now for 3 months things I just dont like about the car.

Placed the tesla reservation because it was impossible to deal with my local ford dealership to get a reservation in and at the time, thought there would be a new EV credit for tesla..

Remember shopping the tesla in 2018 -- didn't love it then, still don't love it now.

Miss having the screen in front of me, hate looking to the center, find it distracting from the road.

I miss the ventilated seats and hate the low sitting position

I hate the radio setup. I find it cumbersome and potential safety issue. So much so that I don't bother with music a lot because I can't easily change channels or find what I would like to listen to.

The guidance they were giving was 2023 and the recent emails have said that if you don't get an update this week then your window is unchanged. I would chat with CS to confirm your window.

I hope so. That would be a nice comfort. I can't imagine how a vehicle can be in general assy for over 3 months without the rest of the line being dramatically affected.

Sell or trade the RAM for the EV6, take the tax credit on the EV6, then sell/trade the EV6 for the R1T and take tax credit #2. No brainer, IMO.
