It’s like we’ve been waiting in line all night at Best Buy for a $199 65” tv on Black Friday. We’re at the front of the line. Things seem orderly. Someone brought donuts. Then 6:30am comes and BOOM Best Buy opens the back doors instead. It’s a bum-rush and ain’t none of us getting that damn tv.

I went from June-July to July-August. Ha Ha. I think that's silly. I've been assigned a guide, I have a VIN, and I've completed 7 of 8 steps. I was told by the local Portland rep that I have a window for delivery to choose from, starting on Monday. Since I don't get paid time off, I chose Friday afternoon or Saturday. I'm expecting to hear back on Monday with a confirmed day and time.
Did u call the Portland facility or did they call you about the delivery windows?

I have a theory that people with multiple orders weren’t emailed. I wasn’t. Hoping others with multiple R1T orders can chime in.
I have both a T and S order. Got an email for the T.

I have preorders for both T and S. I didn’t get an email update for the T. However, I haven’t ever been given a timing window either. Both are post pricing hike preorders.

Still sticking with OC on my configuration and the window went from Jul-Sept to Oct/Nov. Which I guess is fall, as they said for OC and a bit tighter of a window in that it is 2 months.

Same ... I updated configuration from OC to black interior and 21's on 5/27 and got a VIN in a week. 8 steps are complete, delivery is Tuesday 6/14. So excited, I am taking the rest of the day off to just drive around town! Anywho, email says Your Adventure package R1T estimated delivery window is July - August 2022. Soooo ... I'll wait for delivery before I cancel my first mile drive scheduled for 6/23.

Hi. Question-Did your guide tell you to finish the insurance and payment step? My guide told me to hold off since these are pretty quick to execute and once I do those steps, I start paying insurance and they have my money on vehicle I am still waiting for.

Hi. Question-Did your guide tell you to finish the insurance and payment step? My guide told me to hold off since these are pretty quick to execute and once I do those steps, I start paying insurance and they have my money on vehicle I am still waiting for.

Thanks for the clarification, I technically completed 4/8 steps but have Insurance and Payment ready to submit. I uploaded all the documents including an insurance quote (knew this was going to be rejected) in order to complete step 5. Hope to that delivery will be in 2 weeks as I am currently car less

A few months ago it seemed like 21 wheels weren’t being delivered, so I changed to 20s just to see if I got any traction. Saturday morning I changed back to the 21s because it seems that 21s and 22s are what are popping up in the store based on people’s screenshots.

Got my updated delivery email Saturday and I had been moved to Nov-Dec. After skimming this thread, it seems 20s we’re pushed back, so I’m guessing that’s what happened to me.

I tried to ask CS today if they could tell me if my new estimated delivery was based on the 20s or 21s and they said they couldn’t tell me.

??‍♂ So we wait and see if we get an earlier surprise. Who knows.

I was 2nd Half of 2023 with an compass yellow, ocean coast, R1T explore package originally (Denver, 08/2021 Reservation).

I switched to Black Mountain, Adventure, Compass Yellow, and moved up to Sep - October 2022.
Interesting...I went from Max Pack to Large Pack, also in Denver. Also an 08/2021 reservation. My new window is ~3mo after yours. Very curious what configuration differences there are that could lead to a 100% longer delivery estimate (from today) in the same location? According to support, accessories should not impact delivery windows at all - they will just send you the stuff if it if and when it gets manufactured..

Thing is, Rivian could not care less about early preorder holders.

Can you imagine the goodwill that would come from a targeted email to 2018 and 2019 preorder holders who have not received their vehicle? At least acknowledge the folks that built your preorder numbers so high for the IPO. Let them know..(snip)
