Anyone planning to get an R2 - have you found any useful accessories to buy for your Dog to be comfortable in the R2?

I'm looking at getting the Easy Rider SUV Dog bed if it fits well with the 2nd row seats folded unless I find something better for my 2 dogs.

Ok I had to reply mainly to say that’s my Honda Pilot with my rescue dog Dug (who passed in 2025). Can’t say enough about the big barker beds for comfort, easy of cleaning and warranty! Good to know it fits with back seats down as I’ve saved the bed. I’m curious if one of the smaller sizes would fit with the seats up.

Don’t love being that person but please consider securing your dog in the car with a rated harness or crate especially if traveling at high speeds. An unsecured dog can become a dangerous projectile during an accident which can be fatal for them and/or you.
I personally have a MIM safe variocage single large for my lab/acd/gsd mix that fits in the trunk of my Model Y right now. It should also fit in the R2. I previously used a crash rated harness with a back seat hammock but my dog was always pulling on it to try to rest her head on the middle console to be close to me . Which was a big distraction for me (I was always looking at and petting her )
I am looking for a fan option to make sure she is getting good air circulation back there especially during the summer.

I like that! I was going to keep one of the HEST mattress in the back full time for my pup. I might reconsider to that Big Barker.
