Yes, I think my installer even got that wrong and was touting 80%. Thanks for clarifying. I also asked CoPilot and it's 70% for both, legally. As you point out, there is no cap on the Powerwall and also Tesla has the field data which is arguably more important and that's showing 90-95% after 5 years and 80-90% after 10 years according to copilot. I presume the LFP cells they use are from CATL.
The certification documents for SigenStor’s residential ESS list EVE Energy as the certified cell manufacturer for the modules used in the North American product line. I think EVE is every bit as good as CATL.
I have mine set to consume to a 20% SOC unless there is a power outage and it's in a cold cellar so will never be exposed to heat. Will be very interested to see how it fares. Hoping for 85+% after 10 years.
