R2 Mattress Options

Hey friends. I have been camping since I was a kid and sleep is so important. Bad sleep can ruin a trip. I’ve bought xped mats for my roof top tent, love my klymit double v insulated mats and went through too many options for getting my Model Y mattress. I eventually landed on the mattress from Havnby and gave away my lost horizon.

What’s wild is that I had the opportunity to meet the founder at Overland Expo and we hit it off. He invited me to join the team at HAVNBY focusing on helping our U.S. friends learn more about what we have to offer and I’m stoked.

All that to say, if you have any questions about car/truck/suv mattresses, hit me up! I’m a day one R2 reservation holder like many of you and we are definitely going to be developing some good stuff for R2 owners.

I'm potentially interested in a mattress for the R2 because I do animal rescues that require cross-country driving. I usually get hotel rooms, but I've thought the R2 might be big enough to sleep in, and therefore save money on hotels. I guess my requirements for a mattress would be ease of deployment, ease of storage, and washability.
