“What differentiates your vehicles, Rivian?” Oh, we have this amazing Camp Kitchen….(psyche!). But check out R2! Fold flat front seats! You can fit long objects into the front passenger area with this feature OR do car camping! (Not!!!).
I hate that they keep shooting themselves in the foot. Pretty sure that treehouse tent won’t make it to production either.

This is very disappointing. This was one of the main things I liked about the R2. I am 6'4" and I liked the idea of car camping. Don't know if this is a dealbreaker for me or not but sad to hear this.

Truly sad. Li 8 has the feature, but since it is not sold in the US. They do not feel compelled to include the function

I was bummed about this too. It was probably a safety concern. It’s also probably why no other vehicle has it in the US either. Plus they want you to buy that rooftop camper that may never come out.
