IronMan XTR-71 awning (updated version) and iKamper Mini 2.0 on a Range Industries Sierra bed rack

I used 3" x 12" x 3/8" aluminum plates to space the awning up above the truck body (and to get enough height to walk under it). I have to swap out a few fasteners, didn't have exactly what I wanted for a permanent install (wider Nord-Lock wedge lock washers and longer bolts) but it's not going to fall off before then. I used M8 T-slot bolts in the rack for the rack brackets, and standard 80/20 hardware for the tent. The factory iKamper brackets don't work on this rack, as the cross bars are about 1/4" too thick.

Next up is sorting fridge mounting in the bed!

Update on range, doesn’t seem to impact anything (at least based on the projected trip arrival charge level). I’m consistently beating the navigation estimate. Over a 165 mile leg, it was telling me arrival with 60mi left and I arrived at 77. That was fairly consistent behavior over ~600 miles.

Following up on an "old" thread. I'm curious how the combo of the iKamper mini and your awning has worked out? I am considering the same with a 270. Might you have a picture looking at the back of the truck? I'm curious how off-set to the passenger side the tent had to be mounted to make room for the awning mounts?
