I've had the occasional "vehicle alarm triggered" alert sent to my phone from our R1T. Today it was parked in our garage when it happened again, so that seemed kinda strange. I didn't hear anything from the garage, just saw the alert on my phone.
I went to the truck and reviewed the Gear Guard video and saw that the alarm did get triggered, but only the lights flashed, there was no honking or other sounds. So while I was reviewing the video, I saw a cricket jump up on the dash. Culprit found!
So for other folks that have been getting random alarm events, if you don't see anything on the Gear Guard videos, it might be the interior motion sensor being triggered by critters.
