I see an occasional Rivian here in Central Ohio, so that would be a rare sight. We do have a Rivian Service Center in Groveport, Ohio, just south of Columbus. Would this double as our showroom? What are the odds of 3 Rivians merging on a hwy from different directions at the same time!![]()
We’d probably have more Rivians driving around if they put a showroom/service center in Dublin, Lewis Center, Powell, Worthington, Polaris, Easton, or New Albany. Go where your customer base is, increase visibility, and make it convenient for the customer to get service. Groveport is NOT that location in the Columbus Metro Area that has over 2,000,000 people. It’s difficult to get to, especially if you have to go through downtown and the east side of 270 is terrible with all of its congestion and construction.
Groveport is affordable and is near a ton of distribution centers, so it probably makes sense for a service center in terms of getting parts, but not a showroom.
Rivian, contact me if you need someone to spearhead a showroom. We have a lot of Teslas in our area, a showroom at Easton, a body shop in Dublin, and a service center in Polaris. We’re ready for an adventurous disruption.
