Like you, I also bought a 2024 Gen 1 quad recently with 23k miles from Rivian that came with 20" AT tires. Rivian actually put new OEM tires on the car after I complained about road noise.

With new AT tires, the projected range at 100% shows 273mi All Purpose for my vehicle. Yours definitely seems low below 250mi. I'd definitely raise this before the end of return period, or return it.

The advertised range is 289 miles with AT tires. See below as an example:
Configurations | Rivian
did you get yours in the New England area by any chance? Like I might’ve seen the ad for truck

OP-My R1S is a '23 and the estimated range is closer to others posted it should be. Yours seems low. Your miles are very low.

Wonder if an "abused" car has battery degradation?

248 is the 85% number for a Gen 1 quad with 20” wheels and OEM tires in all purpose mode.

I suspect your app is just out of sync with your car - you maybe selected 85% first before you selected 100%, and the miles is still stuck on the 85% value. Check in the truck, and restart the app.

100% range is normally 284 in this configuration.
I think you might be right. I just checked the app and it is now showing 248 at 85%

My 2024 Quad with the all terrains is 285 at 100 percent in all purpose. For some reason the 24's read slightly higher than the 23's that display range in the 270's.

On all purpose you should get close to 300 miles, on conserve almost 330. Try to do a charge and see if it improves, if not I’d return it.
Not on a Quad with the off-road package. All Purpose is 270. Even R1S on the 21" "highest range" wheels quad was only rated for 321.

Assuming the truck checks out, if you are concerned about range don't stick with the AT tires. Trade them in for a 20in all weather tire (I've owned 2 Ts with AT tires and they stink). They suck in cold weather too. Might be good if you rock crawl, but daily driving they are noisy, don't last and in cold weather easily lose their grip (I'm in central Illinois).

Also, if you are a new Rivian owner & care about your tire longevity don't use "auto" on the suspension height. Select standard and turn auto off. You lose .01 percent in efficiency on the highway, but your tires last. Dropping suspension down shifts the vehicle weight to the inner half of the tire which tears them up.
And riding around town in high mode too often wears the outer edge of the tires more quickly (as I learned with my first set).

To the OP, keep in mind that miles range number displayed in the vehicle and in the App is not going to be your real-world range. You’ll start to recognize this when you do a roadtrip and see what the navigation says for remaining range to a charging stop.
