Cargo bars, without an active use…. …questionable but we can let it slide for now 🤣
Oh, you totally get me. I put them on there just because they look cool. I am owning it. 😎

Ya make me laugh. I had cargo bars on the roof hoping they would protect the glass. But after reading too many comments about the racks not carrying anything making one look like a poser, I stashed them away in the frunk.

My truck was totally posing on the beach. And it was totally just because it was so much fun. There was no practical value in any of it. Fun. Just Like there's no practical value in those cross bars. And I don't care because they look awesome.

What is really hilarious is when I put one of my bikes in the bed I have to take the back bar off so that it fits. So the bar is totally useless. It's decorative, just like the paint is decorative.

Yeah but RR has been having "reliability issues" since 1970...
They are certainly near the bottom, but not the least reliable AFAIK, all use ZF transmissions and they stopped using Ford engines.

My Wrangler 4xe has a ZF transmission, the technology is impressive because they built the electric motor right inside the 8-speed transmission (you can see the red coil windings near the front of the transmission in the cutaway below) so they could share almost all of the drivetrain components the ICE wrangler uses . It's another complicated device that thankfully comes with a long warranty.

The biggest issue with these bespoke transmissions?? If your goes bad, no one in the states can fix them and Jeep has to get you a new one directly from Germany which can take a month or longer in some cases.

Not all ZF transmissions are good. The ZF 9 speed for instance. Even when it works, it's just bad.

RWD models use ZF 8 speed(8HP?) and I haven't heard anything bad about them. Everything breaks, but it's extremely rare afaik.
