I've been looking at this. I like that I can declutter the center console (charging pad) and hang my dark glasses case and a small trash bag on the side. would you say that a standard coffee cup with a handle would fit in the larger cup holder? If it's not too much trouble, would you mind measuring the distance between the cup holder and the floor (bottom) of the cage? Thank you. This maybe more than you need but this has been my favorite accessory for roadtrips but just another option.

Nope, it only spills when the mug falls over. If it doesn't fall over it doesn't spill. I don't break that hard.Coffee mug with handle and no lid spills when you hit the brakes? An organizer isn't going to fix that problem.
Drive more cautiously with a hand on your mug or get something with a lid that fits in the cup holders. Yeti 20oz tumbler fits perfectly and contains spills.
I love this thing … it fits everything.Nope, it only spills when the mug falls over. If it doesn't fall over it doesn't spill. I don't break that

Yea, I can get you measurements tomorrow.I've been looking at this. Great idea! Now I can throw out all the coffee mugs I've collected around the world...lol.Just putting this out there - a custom solution could cost more than an insulated coffee mug that fits the Rivian cup holder. Not saying you should do this - just another option that could save you from finding a solution that would need to fit both the mug and the Rivian. Which I've found tricky to do.
