Referral program questions

I'm neither offering my code, nor seeking a code. I have two questions about the referral program I hope you can help with:

1) People in OH and VA are ineligible. How does Rivian determine a person's state? Is it by the state that the Rivian is registered in(how would Rivian even know if a person moved)? Or is it by the address that is in the person's Rivian.com account?

2) I will be purchasing a vehicle from the shop with a code and really want the 6 months RAN charging. I have a road trip planned for December 27th and also one planned for June of 2025, it would be really beneficial to have the free RAN charging for both of those trips. What would be the best day to take delivery of the vehicle such that I'm guaranteed to have the free charging by December 27th but also have the 6 month period extend as far as possible into June of 2025?

If you take delivery two weeks ahead of your 12/27 trip that should be safe according to the terms of the program the rewards show up within two weeks of delivery.

Thanks. So that would mean taking delivery by 12/13? I was hoping I could safely delay it a bit further so as to be able to extend the 6 months free charging further into June of 2025.

Do not count on receiving your rewards in two weeks post delivery. I took delivery the last week of Sept and am still waiting as now (Nov 13)

I suggest bugging them. I got mine at the same time and got rewards in about 12 days, but I did nudge them a bit.

Just following up to confirm this is true. Whatever address the referrer has in their account is what applies.
