Hi, I’m trying to install the ev sportline phone mount on my ‘26 R1T and I’m having a hard time popping the dash trim to get the wire and bracket installed. The instruction says to use the trim tool to pop it but the clip will not completely release the trim. Pulling harder might break the clip or anything else holding it down. Looking for advice from anyone who has removed this trim on the ‘26 R1S/T. TIA!

You are going to break clips, if you work on car interiors. It's a good idea to have spare clips on hand before you start. Breaking the trim is another story.

Turns out you can lift the dash trim enough to get to the screw where the bracket needs to be installed and route the cable for a clean install. Bracket is securely attached and does not touch the wood trim. Overall, a great phone mount and an easy install.

Yep after seeing your photo that's exactly how I did it. Didn't break any clips.

On order to get the dash pad loose, the A pillar trim needs to be pulled loose. I did a whole thread on removing it for the dash rattle.
