OK, hope that works.

If it were me I would look at modifying my replaceable roof rack before modifying and possibly harming my very expensive vehicle.

All the best. I know you will find a good solution and share some pics with all of us.

Yeah, Its a last resort after the u-bolts come if they don't work. I'm hitting a dead end on all other mounting options. DCE/Megawatt/Mars are too narrow and Range Industries is too wide.

It looks like mars adventure gear uses half of a small shaft collar to attach to the accessory port.

Too narrow sadly. =( Need 3" from center to center of the holes. But I'm gonna look into shaft collars now.

So this is going to kind of turn into a blog of my progress for anyone that faces this issue in the future, but will be slow going since I finally got the grab handles off at 3pm on my last day off. Don't have it in me to do it all today, so naturally I'll be doing it next weekend when its only 110 vs 98 today.

I had a set of these picks from when I installed the DCE sliders that were able to go under the sides of the clip on the handle to lift it up. Earlier rivians (mine is a November 2023 build or so) have a piece on the top of the clip that pops off vs the whole cover popping off. It'll pop off the base giving you access to a screw on each side to remove, then the headliner is almost loose at that point.

Update 1: So I finally got the roof liner down today and was removing the accessory ports to put the billet mounts in, but broke the trim that runs down the roof over the accessory ports, as you need to pull this up to remove the mount points and put the new one in. Waiting on a quote from rivian for replacement trim pieces for both sides right now.
