Since some people are in the process of canceling reservations over the price increases, I figured now might be a good time to confirm what the reservation transfer process entails. Has anyone successfully done this? Apparently, it’s pretty easy to just give someone an account and then edit contact details. However, I’ve also heard that customer service might need to be involved at some stage of the process. Also heard that they were generally open-minded about this, although they don’t openly encourage it. Anyone done this yet?
I guess until someone actually takes delivery of a car via a reservation that they took over from someone else it will be impossible to confirm
