Has anyone heard of, or had any conversations to exploring retrofitting build options post delivery?
i.e. Chrome Delete/Black Out, or adding the Compressor, or anything else that we ‘might’ have included presale,
or configured, but instead thought it’s all adding to being too much at that point?
I know that now being able to unlock both Performance & (apparently) AWD to Dual vehicles, is software based, but
Is there a possibility that we can also pay for post purchase hardware retrofits (within reason) ?

TWRAPS offers a black out vinyl option for a chrome delete.

But Rivian doesn't offer any hardware upgrade options directly AFAIK

At some point I'd love to try a DIY retrofit of the compressor. Probably buy one off of a wrecked vehicle from eBay

It is extremely likely that adding intelligent parts like the compressor would require a software update to tell the vehicle it is there. This is common, and I've had it done with Jeeps (which sometimes also even let you program it yourself). I doubt Rivian will help here, they seem to think that you should accept that they own your vehicle, not you, and leave it as is.
