Revert back to the previous update?

I never had a phantom breaking with X5 (2021). It also can change lines and have hands off traffic jam assist. Really good L2 ADAS. Rivian in 2025 still can not reach this level, not even close.

I keep hearing there are better L2 systems and I believe it, but I just feel like overall the technology isn’t fully baked yet. Which is honestly ok with me - it wasn’t a selling point for me and this is my first vehicle with any type of ADAS. I wish it had the hands off traffic jam assist though - I could use that!

Had the same increase in audio volume issue after the update. An infotainment reset put it back to normal.

Brandon on chat asked if I wanted to start a service request or just submit information. As I doubt the sc would be able to do much and probably keep my truck forever, I told him I just wanted to add my 2 cents. He said he'd pass it along to the proper people. I have to think they have somebody scouring these forums, no?

I'm positive Rivian is scouring these forums. I have firsthand accounting of that.

However, the people scouring these forums, I *do not* believe are reporting these issues to the appropriate places or with the appropriate emphasis, again based on firsthand experience.

That said, maybe none of that is true and Rivian is (as always) terrible at actually communicating things. But it verily cannot hurt for people to make their issues known so that we know *for certain* that someone has eyes on the issues so they can be properly addressed.

It was for many, including myself. When you are in traffic jam for 30 min or more and you literally do not need to do anything as car drives itself - this is a huge value.
