It's probably because of the 140 ft*lbs spec.FWIW don't tell Rivian service you changed the tire. They will recommend you tow it to a service center so they can make sure it is torqued correctly.

I ordered one on Amazon because HD was out of stock on 1/2" torque wrenches. Turns out all but a couple of my lugs were torqued fine by hand.Because I collect tools for no reason, happen to have an appropriately sized torque wrench perfect for the job![]()

I just thought it was hilarious that even after re-threading the OEM parts they recommended I tow it to the service center to make sure it was torqued correctly, just a silly statement IMHO, it would mean changing a tire is not user serviceable in their opinion. Regardless I laughed at them and told them I would risk it.
