Rivian: app switching via thumb control pls

The right thumb control up/down is largely unused during driving (cruise control only).

Having this cycle through the apps we set in the app launcher (plus hvac) would effectively remove one touch and one glance from every screen interaction when switching tasks.

For me, finding and touching the right app icon is the most difficult part of the interactive experience. It also requires the most eyes-off the road.

It's a major function button that does nothing outside of cruise control. It also switches the driver's display after clicking it, so it's not a stretch to have it switch the center display when not depressed.

I've worked in software UI/UX, and yeah, that is like on the top 10 list of do not do. Not going to happen.

You are also supposed to have a functional UX, but I'd rather not talk about the HVAC UI/UX. Do you care to be specific or are you here just to speak about your "expertise?"
