I remember reading about that. I wonder if the driver went full send when hitting that incline.Yeah, tie rods are designed to be the “fuse” in a suspension causing them to fail as protection for the major components longevity. I took out my Nissan Pathfinder’s tie rod as a teen going over a curb in a completely empty freshly paved neighborhood (yet to be built) at too great a speed. Luckily the tie rod failed dramatically saving the rest of the suspension.
