Definitely CGI.

I don't know how I feel about this topic.

On one hand, Rivian will need to "tow" vehicles -- whether to do deliveries or to pickup for repairs. Even if they plan to "drive" Rivian's for repairs, they must consider that there is certainly going to be a time when a Rivian is not drivable due to hardware or software failure and it must be towed. I think it would be unfortunate to have Rivian vehicles towed by conventional dirty diesel tow trucks.

On the other hand, I want Rivian to focus on R1T (and I guess I'll include ;) ) deliveries and keeping quality HIGH. I feel that developing a tow vehicle, now, would unnecessarily take resources away from their core product at a crucial time.

Perhaps, in the future, Rivian may consider such a product -- not only for their own vertical integration, but as a marketable product to other businesses/industries. I love the idea of "clean" towing and parking enforcement -- especially in crowded urban and even suburban scenarios. But I do believe this is not something we'll see for years, at the earliest.

In the mean time, I eagerly await my R1T delivery, and plan to take an ironic picture of it being unloaded off of a conventional car hauler, if possible.

I agree focus on the consumer and build a strong brand.

Thought I would share it as it is a departure from built up anxiety to get our vehicles.

I feel like I am back in grammer school waiting for summer to come and it cannot come fast enough.

Maybe they get Workhourse or Lordstown to build an electric car hauler...

Patiently waiting for June/August
