Cloudflare has been on my radar today, anything using Cloudflare DNS today seems to be taking extra time to "make sure I am a human" trying to load a site before it actually loads the page. That being said, Rivian website looks to be using Amazon DNS...it may be affecting you since you are pointed to 1.1.1.1 for DNS lookups.
