Rivian IOS app update

I received an email from rivian describing the new features of the IPhone app. There is no mention about how you get the update. I went to the Apple App Store and searched for Rivian app. I find the app and it allows me to open my existing app. There is no option to update the app. Does anyone know how to get the app update?

Go into the App Store app, press on your picture in the upper right. Now press in the middle and drag down and let go, if you scroll down you will see all the app updates, press Update All.

If I recall correctly the general pending updates list has a different latest version cache than going into the actual page of the app. all sorts of reasons for this (support rolling updates, spreading network traffic, etc) .
However when you go to the App Store “page” for an app it will actively poll for latest and the “Open” button will turn to “Update” after a few seconds.

so if you’re eager to get the latest and greatest go to the app details page

I don't see it either. For the last update (v2.4.0) I had to do what EchoDelta said ....

But this time, today/now, I still do not see the update no matter what I do or where I look or what I refresh. Either Rivian misspoke or the app will show up when it shows up.

The email covers what occurred in the past 30 days, not what is occurring at this minute. The latest version of the APP is 2.4.0, no new releases yet

iOS 2.4.0 came out before Halloween. Little to do with recent fiasco over vehicle OTA (which is now sorted and gradually rolling out like all other OTAs).

I have my phone set to auto update installed apps. Yet for some reason I’ve had to manually update the Rivian app each time through App Store.
