Rivian Level 2 Wall Charger Size

Hello,

I am awaiting our preordered R2 patiently, but in the mean time I am residing my house and would like to make a home for the Rivian Level 2 charger on the outside of my garage. Does anyone have availble the measurements of the mounting plate for the current Rivian Level 2 charger? I have looked through the installation instructions and they show the mounting plate, but no specs about how large it is or where the holes are located, just a picture. I can find the overall size of the charger, but really wanted to know the mounting plate specs itself so I can make accomodations in my new siding.

The plate is 7-1/4" x 16-1/2". Mine is two years old so don't know if they have changed. The charger is a little shorter than that.

Unless you have credit in Rivian’s shop there’s really no reason to get their charger. Wallbox or Emporia are highly rated chargers that offer more capabilities for less money.

Cool thanks for the input, I'll check those out. They pair up with the Rivian app and provide all the same inputs into that app that the Rivian charger does?

They don't pair with the Rivian app. But the only thing the Rivian charger (technically called an EVSE) does in the app is display its state. So there's nothing of value lost.
