Surely this is old news as most people already know what The Count has been up to.
The Count has determined that Rivian has not improved its purchasing process since he first ordered in March 2019.
Tried to get an update on 2025 Quad Max deliveries and no callback as promised; no email back.
So instead of waiting, he is trying to buy a new R1T. Completed the "trade in form" and was told by the computer his submission needed review. Haven't heard back. Nobody knows why. A couple R1Ts the shop interest The Count but it would be good to know what Rivian values the Royal R1S at before he tries to sell it private party.
In the meantime, Ford has reentered the chat room with some good pricing on the Lightning. The Count just wants a truck to putz around God's Country in place of his F150h. He'd rather have the R1T (ideally the quad max but $5 says Rivian is cancelling that project) than the Lightning but at some point function matters more than form.
