I wouldn't hold your breath on the Youngstown location. It looks like it was removed from the "in the works" on the website.

How are you all handling the situation of the closest service center being Cleveland? I am also from the Pittsburgh area, and its really making the purchase a hard call not having a "local-ish" service center. Youngstown would have been more than enough...

So far so good. I've called them twice and both of them were within a couple of weeks time and it's an in home service.

This is a real bummer - it was 'in the works' since I purchased my first Rivian in early 2022.

I hate running 2 hours to Cleveland for service, and I feel back for the mobile tech dispatched from there.

I know this is the Pittsburgh group, but is anyone in northwest PA? I am in Erie, picking up an R1S Trimotor in Cleveland next week.
I have the same question as many of the new PA owners, where are you going for inspections?
I know about Discount Tire, but there aren't any of them near me.
Any recommendations in Erie or Crawford counties?

Any of my fellow Pittsburgh Rivian owners replace tires yet? I have the 21" Pirelli scorpions on my R1s with 29k miles and need new ones - Looks like 2 choices the Pirelli’s or the Michelin Defenders? Any replaces tires? Recommendations for where and what?

Answering my own question from my May 21 post.

I asked a Rivian service tech today about PA inspections and he told me DunnTire has the pucks, does inspections, has been trained, and has everything necessary to perform alignments. Dunn is mostly a Buffalo, NY outfit, but they have Erie locations.

And no, my new R1S was not broken, The tech was delivering and installing my spare tire.
