Scout is backed by VW so I like their chances much more than one by Fisker.
Good to know, that does make a huge difference.. deep pockets, manufacturing know-how and pre-existing Service facilities. If Fisker had all that, they might still be in business :(

If Fisker had someone who knew about business, they might still be in business. Henrik Fisker Is an engineer by trade and made some substantial foundational mistakes in setting up his business. Same as the first time he failed.

If Fisker had someone who knew about business, they might still be in business. Henrik Fisker Is an engineer by trade and made some substantial foundational mistakes in setting up his business. Same as the first time he failed.
I thought he was just a designer. He certainly knows how to engineer failure though. He chose cheap parts against Magna's wishes to showcase their great tech and it bit him in the a$$.

I thought he was just a designer. He certainly knows how to engineer failure though. He chose cheap parts against Magna's wishes to showcase their great tech and it bit him in the a$$.
That was one big screw-up. Another was how he didn't have a real plan to secure financing or grow. Yet another was how he didn't think to produce spare parts or have any availability of spare parts so he was robbing production lines to warranty service vehicles already sold. It turns out business itself is a skill; who knew?
