Some good points, some bad. Imo is this channel is more about theatrics than accuracy. I'm a TSLA fan, but they are way too fanboi for my tastes. Really makes Out of Spec stand out in being even-handed across manufacturer's and vehicles.

These guys are super annoying Tesla fanboys. They have been consistently bashing/attacking all the other EV manufacturers including Lucid and Rivian to generate enough views (revenue for themselves) from Tesla fans on Youtube. It's been proven that only Tesla related videos will generate enough views by It's Kim java (not even close). Ben sullins, one of the earliest Tesla youtuber, got a lot of criticisms when he started to stir away from making "Tesla is the best" videos and show more unbiased contents about all the other upcoming EVs and other green energy solutions. I understand they probably invest quite a lot of money in $TSLA and have all the financial incentives to promote Tesla (enough referrals for the new Roadster), but this has reached to a whole new level that they rush to buy all the other new coming EVs (possibly getting multiple tax credits from all the taxpayers and sell them out once it's done with its purpose) and make videos to bash them to show to their Tesla fans. All I see from this video is "Greed". I am an early 2018 Model 3 owner and generally a Tesla/EV supporter, but this Tesla/Elon cult following culture (to me a lot of it is financial incentive: $TSLA and $DOGE) makes me wanna stay away. My model 3 has been great for the past 4 years without any big issue, but I can't wait to trade it in for my Rivian.

I don't disagree. But that's the nature of YouTube - Rivian will have it's share of content creators as well in the near future...there are already some out there.

Wish my (wife's) Model S had the same reliability as your 3...we had the HV battery and all charging components along with it fail two years ago. It took 3 weeks to trouble shoot, and I don't know how much $$ to fix, but thankfully it was all under warranty. One thing people always forget about wrt BEVs is that they may be on the hook for a HV battery at some point in the future...it's not the same as replacing an ICE.

While I'm generally interested in any new Rivian content, this video was a waste of time. Lots of conjecture about what might break or fall apart. Several instances of inaccurate information.

Also, dude, put on a different T-shirt. An unbiased review while wearing a Giga-Texas shirt? Maybe but it makes it harder to give a lot of weight to your opinions.

Tough crowd here. I've never heard of these guys; apparently they are Tesla fanboys that denigrate competing EVs. If true, and this review is considered a Rivian bashing, I think it speaks volumes for Rivian. Being a soon to be R1T owner I didn't find any of their negative comments particularly off putting or concerning. Personally I prefer to watch/read reviews with a negative slant. It will mentally prepare me for the issues when I own it. I do the same when I buy anything online. Always read the negative reviews first before checking out the positive ones.

I really loved the comparison on range to a model 3. no one compares a corolla to a TRX the thing has 835hp and off-road tires. Cant wait for Tesla's truck to come out so we can really compare ?
