Buy a kinetic rope sized for your vehicle with the proper working load limit.
yankum is a solid brand and a bit more expensive.
Billet4x4 is similar quality and a bit cheaper (we bought the 1-1/8” x 30’).
factor 55 also makes high quality products that are priced accordingly.

Would need to buy some soft shackles to attach the rope, and each brand sells those (at least 7/16”).
Would also recommend a soft shackle hitch receiver as it allows center attachment to maintain axial loading of the vehicle.
Definitely buy USA made recovery products.
Not cheap, but worthwhile investments in recovery gear. ?

For Christmas I got a kinetic rope, soft shackles, recovery boards, a good bag for all of it, and protective gloves. All I’m missing now is the education on how to help someone.

PSA - As others mentioned, get proper shackles, hitch adapter, etc. for this gear. NEVER EVER put a recovery strap on a standard trailer hitch (the tube/ball assembly that goes into the receiver). While it may seem safe, they are not made for the stresses of vehicle recovery and in a few cases have snapped, become a flying object and injured or killed someone.

Glad to see the 21s can do this in snow! I'm heading to the Adirondacks soon and was a bit worried about the stock 21s in the snow. I tested them out last night since we had the snow actually stick and found the car drives and handled it really well.

I always wonder what cable or wire to use to pull a vehicle. If you don’t mind, could you share the details so I can look it up on Amazon to buy and keep in my R1S

The best thing to use is a kinetic strap. Kinetic straps are made to stretch so you can leave slack in the strap and get a running start. The strap stretches and then yanks the other vehicle out. Works great. I found a full kit at one of the ev supplies websites.

Maybe Sand or Snow mode and disable traction control.
