The new towing updates work great!

Range on paper/screen is a VERY VERY different beast than real world range. Them showing a different range on your screen did nothing to change physics.

Strategic ways not to block two Tesla stations

I'd be surprised if that is the location of a production vehicle.

Will Refresh Include a 240V plug?

Definitely see what you are saying about the cost savings. I realize that is a very high priority for them. But they also may be missing out on some R1T sales by not having 240V. I'm sure it's not a huge number, but a missed sale is a missed sale, and I guarantee it's not zero. Tough to do that...

Tesla engineer urges Rivian to move charge port location on R2, R3, R3X for Supercharger access

Anyone else get a survey about R2 and R3 vehicles? One of the questions was where ideal plug locations would be.

Vampire drain - what's the latest battery % loss people are getting?

If I was the only one experiencing this I would tend to agree with you. I am not.

Vampire drain - what's the latest battery % loss people are getting?

I use Google Wifi which can break out the stats for every single device.

Vampire drain - what's the latest battery % loss people are getting?

This is insanity! I've literally driven about 20 miles in the last month. Is it just uploading videos of my garage? Regardless, seems sketch and an obvious vampire contributor.

Will Refresh Include a 240V plug?

Any thoughts or rumors about the refresh upgrading the meager 120V plugs we all have?

Vampire drain - what's the latest battery % loss people are getting?

I don't check any more since it's so frustrating, but I assume it's gone up after this update. Now every time I walk into the garage I can hear it waking up. So ridiculous.

    Bi-Directional Charging

Would a cheap option be to integrate a Ecoflow, Bluetti, or other into the mix somehow? You could run a 240V from the external battery to a generator plug in/transfer switch, or just simply use all the outlets on the unit itself. This external battery could then be charged from the 110V plug on...

    Bi-Directional Charging

Curious why you don't consider Ford's setup V2H, other than price. Also, what about V2L? Is there any reason they couldn't do a 240V plug directly from the J1772?

Affordable high efficiency 20" wheels and 33" tires options (275/60R20)

Interesting. Makes sense though. That may impact how much I use conserve next winter.

Vampire drain - what's the latest battery % loss people are getting?

Yup, just seems anywhere from 1-2 kWh's is just part of owning an R1 unfortunately. Really hope this is fixed on the R2+ program.

4500 mile towing journey - Portland to Tucson and back; with side trips.

Confirmed: R2 / R3 will have tow hitch

I agree, this is great news! A lot of people already have hitch bike racks, not to mention other accessories or need to tow smaller trailers.

Tesla engineer urges Rivian to move charge port location on R2, R3, R3X for Supercharger access

Nah, that was Elon's giant ego. This guy had to salvage it as a somewhat decent vehicle.

Tesla engineer urges Rivian to move charge port location on R2, R3, R3X for Supercharger access

Have owned 7 plug in vehicles with ports in various places: 1 Prius Plug In - back passenger 2 Nissan Leaf - front middle 3 Tesla - back driver 1 Rivian - front driver The back passenger position for a port is by far the worst position. Please remember that 90% of charging events for most...

Ford NACS Adapter Released + Access to Tesla Superchargers Now Available

Anyone else happy that Ford is the guinea pig? Hopefully at least some of the kinks will be worked out by the time we get access.

Ford NACS Adapter Released + Access to Tesla Superchargers Now Available

In Kyle's video the Ford rep said it would be months before all chargers were open. I assume very busy ones and obviously (V2/V1) chargers won't ever be open.
